Yes I am sure I misunderstood your point. BUT for such a simple principle it sure draws like a lightning rod. Maybe some do not want to understand? David, I don't care about street preaching, neither do I think it is "wrong" in and of itself. So, no, I have not read the chruch fathers with a view to justifiy the practice. This is a discussion that adds nothing to my thinking. You all enjoy yourselves.
