Nope it is full of Mormon Doctrine.
Glen Larson (creator and producer of Galactica) is a Mormon

The Shroud of Turin could feasibly be the real thing�unlikely, but within the realm of possiblity.  The BoM is about as real as the Starship Enterprise. In fact, maybe that�s where it originated. Izzy
