No quarrel with what you say here, Judy, but I have often wondered something.
There is no question that God is omniscient. His word teaches us that. Yet I wonder if He could choose not to look into the future, not to know every time just what will happen next. Do you think that this ability might get boring at times? Do you think that sometimes He , like us, would like to see the movie or read the book without knowing the end before He started?
I could peek at my Christmas present as soon as my wife bought it for me, but that would ruin the surprise as we opened our gifts, so I choose not to peek. I think there may be times, though rare, when God just sets back to watch what will happen. I even think there may be grounds for thinking this scattered through scripture.
He can know anything beforehand, but does He always choose to know everything beforehand?
