FWIW I, and I suspect all TT participants, would believe this to be true. FWIW again, my reason for our last couple of 'engagements' was this: Debbie, John, David, Bill and Gary (he may not count as a legitimate illustration) have, with patience and care, attempted to demonstrate your ACTUALLY MISSING THE POINT, of post after post.

jt: Lance, where are you at?? At least I've never mistaken Gary for George :) and David Miller is the ONLY one in your list of patient and long suffering teachers who has ever attempted to communicate or explain anything to me with patience and care and who has never  constantly nagged me about missing some convoluted point. Just because IYO I am guilty of this does not mean that you and your friends (the rest of the "liberal triad") are right and I am wrong but please save me the hearts and flowers. Debbie and Bruce Cockburn are off following their own drumbeat and Gary uses unintelligible code.

Under such circumstances it is trying for them and, they 'move on'.

jt: Where to?  I've seen a lot of sarcasm, anger, and emotional outbursts - is that moving on?

 Am I being patronizing? No!

jt: Yes! Constantly.....

IFF what I have said herein is true then, do I believe that this impasse can be rectified? No!

jt: With this I can agree. So what is the solution?  Should I unsub so you can liberate Izzy & Terry and straighten out David? But what about Kevin, he would certainly be a fly in the ointment wouldn't he?

Now, as for those who 'get' you (Izzie, Terry, David (he is comfortable in all 'camps' due to the looseness with which he embraces 'truth'), let me suggest the order of 'overlap': Izzie-almost completely (peas in a pod), Terry-frequently (he, in fact, affirms others from time to time), David-Critical disengagement makes him a friend to all and, an adversary to all)  IMO-Just musing

jt: So you are the list critic and you have us all locked in and card filed. Poor God; if only He realized up front what an impossible job He has undertaken with us rejects...
So long as I'm in the narrow barrell and headed for the strait gate I'll be rejoicin' all the way.
His righteousness does not travel the broad road...

Jt:Fish in a barrel, Judy. Fish in a barrel.
Lance when are you going to deign to come down from that 'lofty pedestal' you have set yourself on?
Where would you get the idea that you have been ordained judge and what irony for you think you
have the "big Jesus" and are on top of it all; God may be gracious but He does not bless ignorance.

Twice in one day. Judy acknowledges "I don't get it'. Sadly, Judy, you often, though not always DO NOT GET IT.
Happily, God is gracious.

There is no strife or disunity in Christ and He is not divided

JD: On the surface, this is untrue.

jt: Had you ever considered that maybe what we see 'on the surface' is not the reality?

But, perhaps I do not know what you mean with the phrase "no stife or disunity in Christ."
jt: It means just what it says - the Church he is coming for will have no spot, wrinkle, or blemish; wouldn't you categorize strife and
disunity as wrinkles and blemishes?.

When can we say unity has occurred?

jt: When we are of one heart and one mind. When we are all say the same thing and doing what He says.

When a division occurs and assuming one believer in definitely in Christ  --  how does the onlooker tell the difference in the two opponents?

jt: Eventually, as ppl grow into Christ and His love is perfected in their hearts a wolf will be exposed in spite of the sheepskin by
what is coming out of his mouth.

In I Cor 1, when ones describes as a part of the problem are in Christ?   John

jt: Is the above a question?  I don't get it....
