UNITY IN THE FAITH
The Key here is "in the faith" not outside it or by bringing the world the Flesh &the Devil in

Here is a list of items we need to agree on before unity in the faith can be claimed:

(why didn't God in Script do this  -  guess He was just waiting for me).

Water baptism and its relationship to the remisssion of sins.
Repentance and its relationship to faith
Works and its realtionship to salvation.
The Eternal Sonship of the eternal Son.
Trinty verses Godhead
Modern day prophet verses biblical prophet
The love of the brethren -  a sign of true discipleship
Bullhorns verses bullshit  (just seeing if you are still with me)
Spirtual growth and the eternal flow of the blood of the Lamb
The gospel defined
The correctly defined gospel and the false prophet
The false prophet verses someone who is simply wrong.
Being simply and honestly wrong and going to hell.
Universality verses univeralism.
The indwelling of the Holy Ghost with evidences of speaking in tongures.
The indwelling of the Spirit and musical worship.
tongues of fire and the evils of smoking
tongues of fire and male pattern baldness.

Anyway  -  someone of their own choosing can present the "truth' on these points and   we will all agree to agree.   There is much more to do before the end of the week,   but lets commit to the task at hand.    If unity of faith is based upon agreement  --  well, let's just try it.   I have always assumed it couldn't happen.  But maybe these radicals have been right all along.   the key will be  our ability to be agreeable.   Let's see  --   first, if the above list is not a good place to begin, i will AGREE that someone should modify it.   There got's to be a b-jillion considerations  --  so lets get it on !!!!!!!!!!!!    And if anyone thinks the Smithmeister is just kidding around , well, you are mistaken, SIR.   I am as serious as a cancer victim at a health fair.

John

Right now, I have to go to the shop and glue up some stuff.   A little re oak stuff.   A little maple stuff and a little white oak stuff.   Stuff.   Kind of sounds as though I am about to do a comedy routine.
