You're sounding a bit Genevan, Izzy :>)    Yes, I think it means every human being. They are not lost until they refuse such great a salvation. It is what made it possible to live not for yourself but for him who died and rose again on your behalf. In other words, you are alive; live for him.     If he died only for believers, you are talking now about a limited atonement.   Anyway that's how I see it.
