You're sounding a bit Genevan, Izzy :>) 
 
Yes, I think it means every human being. They are not lost until they refuse such great a salvation. It is what made it possible to live not for yourself but for him who died and rose again on your behalf. In other words, you are alive; live for him.     If he died only for believers, you are talking now about a limited atonement.
 
Anyway that's how I see it. But we've been down this road before.

I do not have to convict them, they have already been tried, found guilty, and died in Christ (cf. 2Cor. 5).

The lost have not �died in Christ��that is what all Believers have done.  The lost are dead in their Sin.  Izzy

 

II Cor 5:15and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
