They have an answer for everything and are in total ignorance, darkness, and deception and here you are using one of their arguments JD.   judyt   BLAINE:  This is called "rationalization," in the old psychology textbooks, isn't it, Judy?  It seems to be a device used to insulate the ego against having to face the truth about oneself.    jt: Yes, I think "rationalization" is involved only this is not the entire problem because there is an unclean spirit involved as well and these people are so deceived.  The one I described above was apparently choosing to stay that way - he also had a very religious spirit of the high Episcopal or RCC persuasion, I can't remember which it was now only that it was so sad...   No wonder you think the KJV is inspired  --  it may be the only translation that translates the Hebrew word (qadesh) "sodomites."   Such is not the case in the New KJV, NIV, NASV  --  probably the RSV.   The reason?   Because "qadesh" actually references the act of sodomy AND prostitution in pagan religious services.   The translation "sodomite" is much to limiting as a translation.   JD   In a message dated 2/15/2005 5:38:39 AM Pacific Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Sodomite is the Bible word unless it has been excised of anything pertaining to sex perverts like the NIV that had two practicing perverts on the commitee.
