JD says Well, he sure used King James, didn't he.

KD says James was not a HOMO he had EIGHT kids for goodness sake.

King James to his wife Queen Anne: "I thank God I carry that love and respect unto you which by the law of God and nature, I ought to do to my wife and mother of my children...for the respect of your honorable birth and decent I married you but the love and respect I now bear you for that ye are my married wife and so partaker of my honor...God as my witness ever I preferred you to all my bairns much more than any subject (signed) Your Own, James Rex."

"...if it were possible for me to love her better than ever I did before it were my part to do it."

What evidence do you present before you slander anothers name? Motivated by the same POPISH hate of the word in the vulgar tongue of the people, displayed in the burning of those that simply possesed one In your effort to squash the Only Bible the english speaking world had for 170 years, you will slander & demean anothers good name.

If it is not true does that qualify your staements as Tale Bearing? Ben Johnson "And there must go much more to the make of a guilty man than rumor."

WHAT A CLEVER COVERUP!  King James Basilicon Doron  "There are some horrible crimes that ye are bound in conscience never to forgive: such as witchcraft, willful murder, incest, and sodomy."

JAMES WAS A MAN NOT A FAG  "But especially eschew to be effeminate in your clothes, in perfuming, preening, or such like...and make not a fool of yourself in diguising or wearing long your hair or nails, which are but excrements of nature...Guard against corrupt leide and effeminate ones."

As a matter of fact He did!

King James I was a Christian who wanted the Bible in the hands of the common man so he commissioned the KJV

Reformer John Knox read the sermon when james was crowned King.

He held the Roman Catholic religion in contempt. Roman clerics tried to kill him more than once. The King was born during the time of the Reformation and well knew popery's atrocities. In 1536, popery burned William Tyndale to death for distributing the Bible and it was MUCH displeased with King James' authorization of a Bible in English

HE WAS A PROTESTANT Roman Catholic Nicolo Molin,  "...He is a Protestant...The king tries to extend his Protestant religion to the whole island. The King is a bitter enemy of our religion (Roman Catholic)...He frequently speaks of it in terms of contempt. He is all the harsher because of this last conspiracy (Gun Powder Plot) against his life...He understood that the Jesuits had a hand in it." Despite the numerous attempts on his life the King treated his RCC subjects fairly.

King James Basilicon Doron: "I am no papist as I said before...Now faith...is the free gift of God (as Paul sayeth). It must be nourished by prayer, which is no thing else but a friendly talking to God. Use oft to pray when ye are quiet, especially in your bed..."

HE WAS CHASTE Sir Henry Wotton (June 1602) "There appears a certain natural goodness verging on modesty...He wears short hair...among his good qualities none shines more brightly than the chastness of his life, which he has preserved without stain down to the present time. Contrary to the example of almost all his ancestors, who disturbed the kingdom with the great number of bastards which they left."

PIOUS F.A. Inderwick 1891: "James had a reputation for learning, for piety, for good nature, and for liberality."

Here is some advice by King James to his son, from Basilicon Doron "Keep your body clean and unpolluted while you give it to your wife whom to only it belongs for how can you justly crave to be joined with a Virgin if your body be polluted? Why should the one half be clean, and other defiled? And suppose I know, fornication is thought but a veniall sin by the most part of the world, yet remember well what I said to you in my first book regarding conscience, and count every sin an breach of God's law, not according as the vain world esteems of it, but as God judge and maker of the law accounts of the same: hear God commanding by the mouth of Paul to abstain from fornication, declaring that the fornicator shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven, and by the mouth of John reckoning out fornication among other grievous sins that declares the commiters among dogs and swine."

King James was Evangelistic Here is part of the Grant Charter to settle the Colony of Virginia: "To make habitation...and to deduce a colony of sundry of our people into that part of America, commonly called Virginia...in propogating of Christian religion to such people as yet live in darkness...to bring a settled and quiet government."

SO WHATS THE PROBLEM?

Well, he sure used King James, didn't he.   Your argument reminds me of a piece of Swiss cheese.   So, stop cutting the cheese and cut to the chase    -----------    list please.
