ARCHAIC WORDS
God retains the Archaic & outdated Word SEER in I Samuel 9:1-5
Verse 0 (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
We are notified in verse 9 and then shown the bible practice for Archaic words, God leaves it in Verse 11 "Is the seer here?"Why the PRESERVED WORD is not a FACSIMILE OR AUTOGRAPHA
Jer 36 Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth? Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.
when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,
Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned. Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
Was the first or second roll the perfect word of God?
They differed (added many like words) but both were the perfect word of God.
God told Jer to write all the words, every word not message was important to God.
Notice the Original was lost it was of no value to anyone.
Not one word was lost as the roll was rewritten with many like words.
God values the copies as well as the originals.
MT 5:18 "Till heaven and earth pass, not one Jot or Tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled"
Italics in the KJV and certain NT quotes of words not in the OT
Psalm 16:8. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Notice "he is" in italics. When Peter quotes this verse in the NT Acts 2:25
"For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:"
He quotes the italicized words and all! Almost makes you think God wanted them there all along.
Paul's quote of "the corn" Deuteronomy 25:4 in I Corinthians 9:9. "For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?"
Deut. 25:4, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn."
Jesus quoting "word" which is in italics Deuteronomy 8:3 in Matthew 4:4. "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
PERFECT
Biblical perfection includes Faithful, upright, just, integrity, maturity and that which is perfect is acceptable to God. Leviticus 22:21 ".it shall be perfect to be accepted"
The Biblical concept of the perfect word of God does not coincide with the "scholars" view. God is not bound to adhere verbatim to "the original manuscripts" and that He does make statements a second time with different words. (Jer 36 & NT quotes of OT passages) The illegitimacy of the "scholars" assumptions are easily demonstrated. For example, Isaiah 7:14 reads: "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Matthews quotation of it in 1:23 reads: "Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel." These are both scripture, but words are changed and added. According to the scholars approach, one quotation must be an error.
Micah 5:2 reads, "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel." Matthew quotes it in 2:6. "And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel."
INSPIRATION is "of GOD"
Job the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding
2 Tim 3 All scripture is given by inspiration of God

Kevin, do you believe that the KJV is infallible? What does the word
"infallible" mean to you? Are all revisions of the KJV infallible or only
the 1611 edition?
Peace be with you.
David Miller.
