Hi Terry:
Would you say it was "driven" or "strongly impressed?" because even Jonah was able to run from his calling
although he wasn't able to enjoy such flight.  This is a principle I learned early on and I've never found anything
since then to refute it.  Even in Strongs where the word "driven" is used it is usually the "wicked" or "demonized"
being "driven" as in Luke 8:29.  I know Jeremiah the prophet called God's Word a "fire in his bones" ...

Has anyone else experienced "being driven by God?"  judyt

I have to disagree, Judy.  The Holy Spirit has driven me to lead other individuals to Christ.  I felt that I had no choice but to present the gospel to those particular individuals.  At other times I have been driven to teach on subjects that caused division; subjects that I would have preferred to have avoided, subjects  that have ended friendships.

Don't take my word for it.  Ask Kevin or David if the Holy Spirit has ever driven them to preach.
