Judas realized he had betrayed an innocent man and he was "seized with remorse". He returned the 30 pieces of silver and he hung himself. But I guess that won't count as repentance with some people.
 
 
Nope!  Not with God either.  Sorrow and repentance are not the same.  If Judas had turned from sin to God he would have asked for forgiveness and would not have murdered himself.  He did not ask and he did sin by killing a human.  He is in Hell.
