 I'm still trying to understand why it is that the best teachers on TT (Bill, Gary, Caroline, JD and, Jonathan) usually elicit responses entailing blanket dismissal

It is because of WHAT they teach, What is so hard to figure, about that? What they got I don't need, the Spirit of God mixes with error like oil does with water. I am complete in Jesus Christ whom they know not.

Once again Gary has uttered a pentrating observation. Judy, your response illustrates that of which I spoke yesterday. Thereafter I was taken to task by Izzy and Terry.If you asked for clarification instead of 'launching' then both you and the rest of us would benefit from Gary. Gary exhibits discernment. I, for one, would like to hear much more from him. I'm still trying to understand why it is that the best teachers on TT (Bill, Gary, Caroline, JD and, Jonathan) usually elicit responses entailing blanket dismissal (granted, your responses are accompanied with 'biblical support'(?))

like it or not Satan is an ever present reality, and guess what?  He talks to people.. folk who listen and regurgitate thinking it is their wisdom become oracles for the devil.
 
You express some concern about the rehabilitation of Judas along with JD who appears to think he may still have had a productive future or something like that - But what are you going to do about Satan who actually entered into him? (John 13:27); maybe you could locate some Jewish exorcists or even better chastise the apostle John for his philosophic dualism and help him to write it more accurately.
