Iâd like to oblige, but I have already made it as plain as possible.  Either you have eyes and ears, or you donât.  Your theology makes it appear that God did an evil thing in giving us free willâit can only be used to choose rebellion.  Choosing to repent and obey is works, and therefore damnable.  Sad.  And so satanic.  Izzy

You know, Izzy,  Bill has never said any close to what you debate in the above.
Your theology makes it appear that God did an evil thing in giving us free willâit can only be used to choose rebellion.  Choosing to repent and obey is works, and therefore damnable.  Sad.  And so satanic. Our "free" will has nothing to do with Bill Taylor's presentation on the biblical teaching of the inclusive act of reconciliation as taught in Col 1:17-23.   It is God's will that is the issue, if anything.

Your "plan of salvation" teaches us that God did not reconcile the world unto Himself, in spite of scripture that teaches that very thing.   "No little Bonander,  your addiction is preventing you from receiving the gracious forgiveness of the Lord.   It is there, waiting for you to repent and confess.  God has done all that He can.  Now it is up to you."   And Bonander cries,  " I need time.  I want the Lord in my life, but I need time."

"Ah Bonander, there is no time.   Now is the day of salvation."

"I  want to, but I need time to get my life in order."

"Yes.   yes you do."

And those words echoed in the dark as Banander walk away from the good news.

Such a "gospel" is truly short sighted and without grace.   When salvation is the result of obedience, it is owed to us as a matter of debt (Ro 4:4).

Your comments above are a real disappointment.   Graceless and thoughtless.

John
