Folks, some people have reduced the relationship
with our heavenly Father to obedience and that is
sad.
Some people have reduced God's revelation to
isolated biblical verses, ignoring the grand sweep of the narrative
revelation,
the stories of biblical people living out their
faith. That is sad too. Love, Caroline
What is sad about obedience
Caroline?
After all His commandments are not grievous
are they? (1 John 5:3) and how can we claim to love Him
if we refuse to take what He says
seriously?
Yes what was written aforetime is written for our instruction but ATST we don't need to concern ourselves
with fleeing from Jezebel or physically slaying the 'prophets of Baal' - the
dragons left for us to slay are
those hiding in the chambers of our own
hearts and the "grand sweep" you are all
caught up in appears
(to me anyway) to completely negate
this aspect of the Christ event. Grace and Peace,
judyt

Caroline
