I never said that Caroline is not intelligent; obviously she is, and I appreciate that plus her sweet transparency.  But you seem to think that being “intelligent” entitles one to be condescending. (Sometimes people who exalt intellectualism get that mixed up.)  You obviously don’t recognize your own condescension of us “fundies”, so wouldn’t recognize it in others, Lance.  We “fundies” are, however surprisingly, intelligent enough to recognize it. So let it be noted for the record. Izzy

How could anyone look upon the Cross and think that God is not LOVE?  This does not exclude all of God’s other characteristics, however. He is a many-faceted God, as we are many-faceted creatures, capable of more than one personality trait.  Your continued assertions that those of us who comprehend God more fully than just a God of love are deprived of knowing him as well as you do is somewhat condescending to say the least, Caroline. Think about it. Izzy

But I fully understand the security of following the narrowest path for those who can not wager all on Him being love. There is room in the faith for all and biblical support for both theology.

Love,

Caroline
