[Rom 8:3] the law was powerless..[8:4].. [therefore] ..walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit 'was powerless' (in Rom 8:3, above) also refers to (e.g.) Neh 10, as does Gal 3:10, below--that the Law was powerless while in effect is germane to the Ap Paul's point in both NT/argument contexts   [Gal 3:10} All who rely on observing the law are under a curse
