My hat is off to your wife. She has a very tough and very important job.
You write well. You exhibit, on the whole, a gracious .disposition'
(virtually, of course). You demonstrate a fair knowledge of LDS history and
doctrine.The research you do, when called for, is first rate.
Your demeanor, when engaging those of the Mormon persuasion, is often
patronizing and repetitive. Even should they not find you so, I do.
I know this. I wrestle often with whether I am coming on too hard, or if I
am soft-selling my position. I vascillate between the two extremes.
Sometimes I remain quite civil with them, and sometimes I expose my
frustration over Satan's grip on them in my responses.
Over the last couple of weeks I have been convicted of my sometimes
disrespectful tone, and have started to tone it down a bit. I find it
interesting that the first time since I began to tone it down I treat the
topic flippantly, out of the blue you pick up on this and call me on it.
Don't think your comment was taken lightly.
As far as repetative, I am sure it seems more so to those that have been on
the forum for a long time...however, new members are joining all the time.
Although only 8-9 post regularly, there are about 35 members at present!
That means about 25 are lurking and reading the posts without commenting!
As to 'being a supporter of Satan', Mr. Moderator, if being thick-headed
in one's approach qualifies then, look in the mirror. IMO, you've made no
headway since my arrival on TT
Well, just because these two mormons do not appear to be responding does
not mean my continually engaging them is not making headway. When the
cognitive dissonances they have to expend energy to deny reach critical
mass, anything can happen!
Also, there is more than one front on which this battle is being waged.
One is exposing the truth to the mormons (although they are blinded by the
deceit and cannot see it), and the other is the education of others on the
forum who may not be as informed as you about mormonism and it's occultic
origin and nature.
so, put a sock in it will ya?
Now, I think we are getting down to the real basis of your
complaint...your own boredom with my ranting about mormonism to the mormons.
As long as I continue to feel led to refute Satan in his mormon stronghold,
I will continue.
