DAVEH:  From my LDS perspective, you answer is peculiar, Terry.  Do you not equate what you describe as urgings of the HS to feelings?

If you base your beliefs on hard evidence, does that not become risky?  Does your faith in Jesus require hard evidence?

DAVEH:  As I explained to Judy this morning, I was using home life in rather loose terms Terry.  I somewhat regret speaking critically of my TT friends, but I do have a unique perspective of TT that I thought was being sought.      My intention wasn't to kick either you or anybody else.  It's just my observations from my perspective.

But I am curious, Terry.  Do you feel the presence of the Lord in TT?

That seems like an odd question, Dave.  I do not base my beliefs on feelings.  I have felt the urging of the Holy Spirit on rare occasions, but my faith does not hang on those times and experiences.  I am kind of a logical type of person.. I have examined the evidence, I believe it to be true, and have decided to follow Jesus based on the evidence that I have studied.  I do not speak in tongues, have never had a vision or an out of body experience, or had any other experience that would affect my beliefs.  To me, it simply makes sense to have Christ as Lord of my life.
