DAVEH:    Ohhhhhhhhh.........I wish you would identify who you are speaking to in the future.   I'm a tired old guy that ain't too sharp sometimes....    :-)

I'll respond below to each point as best I can......

DAVEH:   I'm lost on this one, Lance.   Perhaps I deleted a previous pertinent post that would answer my question.....which is:   To whom are you addressing this?

Will you do for us what TT (read David Miller) has done for you? Assuming non-uniformity within the LDS (I do not refer here to fringe or breakaway groups but mainstream LDS):
DAVEH:  Forgive me Lance, but I have no idea of what you are asking.

Identify a dozen or so issues over which current Mormon discussion is taking place.
DAVEH:   ????   Huh???   Seems to me there are only a couple real issues.   First, some TTers want to discredit, denigrate and disparage my beliefs to make other TTers think I'm stupid for believing such goofy stuff.  Second, I see some TTers deliberately distorting the truth in order to make it seem that I believe goofy stuff.

Including those two things.....are there any LDS related discussions that are meaningfully?

What are the two or three 'hot button' issues of considerable disagreement?
DAVEH:   I can't speak for anybody else, but for me I suppose when someone suggests I don't believe in Jesus....guess I'm a little sensitive about that, eh!

What questions do you personally have concerning the content of your faith?
DAVEH:  Hmmmmmm.........hadn't thought about that for a long time.  And have forgotten what I did question when I last did.

To which questions have you received as yet no/unsatisfactory answers?
DAVEH:   Yoweeeeee.....lots!   (I'd still like to hear an understandable explanation of the T-Doctrine.)  But I've learned that many TTers view me as a threat and are reluctant to tell me outright what they are thinking.   I suppose they may be more worried about what other  TTers might say if they did.  I believe that some TTers view any meaningful discussions with Mormons to be potentially dangerous, and hence prefer to disrupt such discussions by introducing a boatload of extraneous material in an effort to derail an exchange of ideas.   We've had at least one TTer suggest he is on a crusade of sorts to nullify anything Mormons might say on TT.   So, rather than viewing TT as a roundtable where many folks of contrasting beliefs can discuss their differences, to me it seems like TT has become a place for some Christians to try to bullhorn their agendas on the rest of the group.  But that's just my perspective.  Maybe you see it differently.

thanks for this,

Lance
