1) There are no doctrines affected by the modern Versions

LOL. So do you still think that doctrine accepted by Judy is not affected
by textual problems? She tries to make her case by pointing to a specific
part of the text, only to have you respond that the text she points toward
is not in your modern version of the Bible. Perhaps what you meant to say
is that you don't see where any doctrine that you accept is affected by
textual problems. However, we must assume that the doctrine you accept is
based upon the corrupted modern texts, which means, of course, that you are
employing circular reasoning.

Romans 8:5 defines the state of mind of those who walk in the spirit. It
does teach that walking in the spirit is only a state of mind!

Read Romans 7, John. Walking in condemnation has to do with doing things
contrary to the mind of the Spirit. Romans 8 illuminates us to the idea
that if we mind the things of the Spirit and have faith in Christ, we will
walk in the Spirit, meaning that works follow faith, just as you say.
Therefore, when we walk in the Spirit, we will not experience the
condemnation talked about in Romans 7, which comes from doing those things
that you don't want to do. Our state of mind and our faith determines how
we live.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
