Lance,

Habakkuk Chapter 1 is instrumental in helping us understand how God can use one nation to judge another, as he used the Chaldeans to judge Judah. The Chaldeans had no idea that God was using them...they just did what came naturally to them. There were probably a few "Lances" in some neighboring country that complained about the Chaldeans, and that they had no reason to attack Judah.

After reading Habakkuk 1, don't you think it is possible that God was using America in the same way to judge Chaldea! And if George Bush had, in your opinion, no reason to go into Iraq, perhaps God did not need for him to have a reason to make it happen.

Is God 'in control' on TT? David: you never answered my question re: policy
making for USA. Who makes it? GWB & advisors? God? Wherein lies the
responsibility for wrong policy making when God has made it?

THERE WAS NO SOUND, JUSTIFIABLE, VIABLE REASON TO INVADE IRAQ! Now, there
might have been with Saudi Arabia. There might be with North Korea. Guess
who won't be invading a non-pushover nation?

David: A compliment to you. You are almost never difficult to understand.
You write well. You think well. However, your theological and political
foundations, though clear, are extremely right wing and fundamentalist.
Sorry, I believe that you are further right than God.
