I do believe in at least a 3 dimensional 'world'. (currently, 11 demsions are being discussed) I do believe in an 'interactive' (excuse the expression) God. I do believe that prayer is not insignificant.I do believe that we need to be thinking 'triadically' (God, World, Man). I do believe that 'spirit beings' exist though without any inherent 'being' just as we are not created 'eternal' (no eternal soul). I do believe in Divine and Contingent orders. (contingent:freely created by God out of nothing, and having an existence, freedom, and rational order of its own while still dependent on him).
Ahhhhhhhh 'freedom'! Now, there's the issue at hand. God alone is 'free'. We humans are 'free' only in the sense that we can live in accord with our nature which is fallen. When we are participants in that Divine Freedom we are then freed up so as not live in accord with our nature, which is fallen. I perceive that David and Perry, drawing on biblical examples of both the micro and macro (Pharaoh, King of Persia) are extending them into current global affairs.(GWB 'deciding' to drive drunk or 'deciding' not to show up for duty (micro) &GWB & GWB 'deciding' to invade Iraq (macro) I see you both as saying that God was equally involved on both levels. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles Perry Locke" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: July 04, 2005 14:33 Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] Apologetic for the eternal sonship of Christ > Lance, > > Habakkuk Chapter 1 is instrumental in helping us understand how God can > use one nation to judge another, as he used the Chaldeans to judge Judah. > The Chaldeans had no idea that God was using them...they just did what came > naturally to them.
