That person is incorrect.  I consider myself a Trinitarian.

Having said that, let me also say that people who agree with the Trinity do 
not always see it the same way.  In fact, many people hold to the idea of 
the Trinity as being a mystery that cannot be understood.  I would disagree 
with this perspective.  I believe that the Godhead can be understood, but it 
cannot be articulated well with words.  In other words, there is a spiritual 
truth and understanding that is understandable in the heart, but not with 
language.  I believe that modern day Oneness doctrine (sabellianism) helps 
bring balance to our understanding of the Godhead, and even Arianism at some 
times can tend to bring balance, but that is difficult for me to say because 
I am a Trinitarian who leans very heavily toward sabellianism (if you 
understand my drift here).
