"Word" and "truth" are not the same thing -- but you confuse the two terms. You consider "Word" to be didache and not a living (read:: actual) relationship. Everything else is mute after that misconception. In fact, it is impossible for you to get it right if you do not see the "Word," The Son, the Life, the Light as being relational as opposed to conceptual. You have no choice but failure. Thank God you do not have to "right" to share in the purposes of His reconciliation!!!

NO - not at all, Jesus said (John 8:31)
"IF you continue in my Word, then are you my disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free"
The implication being that IF they did not continue in His Word they would not know the truth and would stay bound"
JD's doctrine leaves out all scriptural IF's, ANDs, and BUTs making it something other than the whole truth. judyt.

We are not questioning whether God's love is unconditional. The question is, "Is salvation unconditional?

It is "required" in the same way breathing is required to continue physical life. All references of joint participation are to be viewed in this context. That is the gospel message as I understand it. To argue that my effort is actually required to secure my salvation is repulsive to me -------- not to mention scary.
You are mine, IF.
