Is this akin to what some call 'kingdom theology' where rewards/punishments are handed out relative to 'performance'?

Jesus says our love for Him is based on how we obey Him; he said
"If you love me you will do what I say" and the ones who obey Him are the ones

are not saying to live for righteousness's sake, but
for Christ's sake, and your life will be glorify God.
