Conditional qualifiers relative to 1. coming to
'salvation' 2. remaining therein 3. rewards thereafter

NO - not at all, Jesus said (John 8:31)
"IF you continue in my Word, then
are you my disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth will make you
free"
The implication being that IF they
did not continue in His Word they would not know the truth and would stay
bound"
JD's doctrine leaves out all scriptural IF's,
ANDs, and BUTs making it something other than the whole truth.
judyt.
We are not questioning whether God's love is unconditional. The
question is, "Is salvation unconditional? [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

Personal effort is always and only out of
response to God's saving activity. It is "required" in the

context. That is the gospel message as I understand
it. To argue that my effort is actually required to secure
my salvation is repulsive to me -------- not to
mention scary.
