My point is that when they serve the Eucharist, you are not allowed to partake. The Catholics forbid you from breaking bread with them in this sacred ceremony. Should I consider anyone my brother or sister who will not share with me in the Lord's table? David Miller wrote: >> They do not accept you as worthy >> to partake in communion. In other words, they do so in spite of their religion and contrary to their religion, not because of it. Look, I agree that God is denominationally blind. Being Catholic does not disqualify someone from experiencing his grace, but anyone who is truly Catholic cannot follow Jesus anymore than a rich man can. I'm not saying it is impossible, but it is exceedingly difficult. Debbie wrote: > And if some don't, I am not worried about > them, as they cannot affect my worthiness > or unworthiness. Fine, but do not be blind to the doctrines and hypocrisy that lead them to act like you are their sister in Christ in some ways, but not their sister when it comes to breaking bread together at the Lord's table. I think the term "so-called" is very applicable because the reality of brotherhood and sisterhood is very questionable. Peace be with you.
