Oh, you mean like the chill pill pictured on this website?

Still looks like drugs to me.  :-)

Ah, shucks, Bill, think about the etymology of that phrase.  It all goes back to people taking drugs.  I don't like figures of speech that come from the drug culture.  It is bad enough to have John encouraging the drinking of beer (a drug), encouraging the taking of drugs like Vicodin, talking about how doped up and high he is on it, then to swing around and tell me to take a pill and feel good.  Think about it.

While I'm on it, I did not take well to Lance saying "Damn!"  My family does not talk like that.  I know you guys probably think me a Pharisee to even mention it, but to have you guys then claim to have a stricter definition of sin than me, well, something just does not add up.

How about this.  Someone please identify one sin that I would not consider to be a sin.  Identify one thing that you try not to do because you consider it to be sin, but that I would allow in my life because I do not consider it a sin.  Maybe that would help us discuss this issue.

Something else that would help is for someone who thinks that I am too lenient on the sin issue is to delineate the difference between temptation and sin.  I suspect we might differ in this area.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
