DAVEH:   Thanx for the explanation, DavidM.  FWIW.......While I no doubt meet your definition, I don't feel compelled to sling mud....nor do I know many LDS folks who do.

Do you now understand what
legalistic grace is?

Do you have a short explanation you
can share, DavidM?

Legalistic grace is reducing the concept of grace to doctrine and dogma. It
is basically the way John treats grace, as a legal get out of jail free
card. Our legal accounts are cleared by what Christ has done, and those who
would add any other aspects to our covenant or relationship with Christ are
misunderstanding grace. We will find those who embrace grace in a
legalistic fashion slinging mud at those who appear to be not toting the
party line.

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
