Yes !! Have had it on a good part of the afternoon. 35 miles across the eye of this thing, alone.
By morning to mid-afternoon tomorrow, N.O. could be under 20 feet of water. We have a number of friends in and around Jackson, Miss. The storm is going to hit them very hard as well ?????
Anyway -- a lot of prayer needed for those in this area. Every minute I watch, I am praying.

Click on the weather channel. You will see what a monster this one is. Fills the whole gulf.Watching FoX News. Katrina is a sad situation. Shepherd Smith, one of the news anchors on that network just interviewed some (a 100 or so) spending the evening in a local bar, partying. They are going to stay in the bar(s) and "ride" the storm out there. Only the 4th level 5 storm to hit the US ever -- coming right in or New Orleans. The rain has begun, 2p.m. pacific time and they are closing the bridges right this minute.===========================================================================
