Good news, Terry, at least on your end. iz -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Terry Clifton Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2005 3:55 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] storm
I do not want to be responsible for deciding how God feels about gambling. I think that we have good examples of Him destroying places where there were no righteous people, but even Biloxi and New Orleans have some dedicated Christians living there. Since gambling is not an abomination, I think He would have these cities father down on His hit list than say, San Francisco, provided He had such a list. I think instead, that He has programmed the forces of nature long before these cities existed, to have storms and fires and floods and all those things we call natural disasters, and terrible as they sound, they are not all bad in the long run. God can use this right now to bring lost sheep back on the narrow path. We are expecting gale force winds, some rain and maybe a tornado or two, but we are on the fringe and very thankful to be there. David is farther than we are and should not suffer any discomfort from this one.
