DH is just looking for an out, he does not want to answer for his Churches Authorities. They said it he ignores it.

Individuals in a church can have all the beliefs they want but authoratative churches like the RC, JW and Mormon define what are the beliefs of that church.

 

A Mormon authority said the FALL was just a planned formality to fulfill a Eternal purpose

 

Whose plan was it???????

 

Maybe you can see why DH does NOT want to answer these questions.

He can believe anything he wants I am not stopping him, but someone needs to answer for what his church authorities have stated.

Usually it is excused by claiming if it is "not in the standard works", well then....

DAVEH:  Normally I do not engage you in theological discussions, Kevin.  But I'm having trouble resisting on this one.  Do you literally believe the Bible when it says that God tempts no man to sin?  Assuming the answer is yes, then is it not be true that God did not tempt the only man alive to sin in the Garden of Eden?  For that matter, who tempted woman in the Garden....do you believe LDS folks teach it was God as your below logic suggests?   If not, then why would you use such illogical reasoning to explain why my beliefs are wrong?

    Aarrrrggggggggh......I wish I had the fortitude to not bend my own rules!     :-(
