Correction... This is the truth of YOUR
gospel Lance and the gospel of those who are in agreement with
you.
The Son walked among what you call the "human
sewer" long before the "incarnation" He is the Rock who
followed
Israel in the wilderness, the cloud by day and pillar
of fire by night so the big event is not what you like to call the
"incarnation" - The big event is the cross.
His becoming an eternal sacrifice for us so that we
could receive the
POWER TO BECOME a son of God (John 1:12). The
power of the cross is power over the bondage of sin.
This also was Paul's gospel
ie:
"We preach Christ crucified, to the
Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness" (1 Cor 1:23)
And since Paul's gospel was approved by those in
Jerusalem (they added nothing to him), I think we can safely
assume it was the gospel of
the other disciples as well. To intimate that God is willing to fellowship
with devils
is heresy of the first
order.
