Baloney.  I have brought this up before, but perhaps it is fitting to repeat 
it.

Example of an infallible Truth:
Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah.

This is truth.  It enters my mind and it does not come out something less 
than it was when it went in.  Does this truth get twisted by your mind after 
it enters it?

Aw, but this proverb speaks to something else.  It speaks to added 
revelation and illumination.  It does not address someone losing part of the 
truth after having once heard it, nor does it speak about truth becoming 
distorted and perverted when it enters our minds.  It speaks to someone 
receiving a more full knowledge and understanding.  Yes, we all grow in 
this, but this does not subtract from what we have already received.  It 
adds to it.  Get the picture?
