Speak for yourself ONLY JD. The power to become a
son of God has been sent already.
Whether or not you choose to walk in it rather than
believe tradition along with doctrines that
exempt you and cause you to be complacent in your sin
is between yourself and your own
conscience.
Jesus left us an example that we should follow in His steps (1 Peter 2:21)
And this same Jesus also stated "the works
I do shall you do also and
greater" (John 14:12)
The impotent person still bogged down in trespasses and
sin who only has great swelling
words of man's wisdom to hold on to will
find this impossible because of their unbelief.
However Jesus ever the obedient Son only said what He
first heard the Father say - so
this is straight from headquarters. Accept or
reject, take it or leave it....

The correct way of saying it is this: nobody has the power to walk as Christ walked."Works of the law" is "obedience to the law." There is no other way, exegetically speaking, to consider those words.Jd

Nobody has the power to walk as Christ walked without the cross. You confuse obedience with works. They are not the same. My obedience is not a work. My obedience comes out of my relationship with someone I love. Peace be with you.
