Terry,

Be not many of you teachers   ----   advise I take seriously for the implied reasons.   What we discuss here on TT is not reflective of where I begin, as an evangelist.  Among the trash talk, when that is peeled away, what we have IMO is the meat of the word.   For me to sit down and begin teaching Torrance to a group of newly converted drug addicts  ------------   well, it just wouldn't work.   In the debate,  I am learning.   It is good for me  ..............  sometimes only because it has forced me to study for myself, but occasionally, because of the counsel I receive on this forum.   When I talk to someone who may be considering "coming to the Lord,"   I sound quite traditional, Terry.   The "good stuff" is for those who are not babes.

I preached this triune gospel at a recent wedding>   Spent a good deal of the evening talking to some who caught what I am saying   -------------   one pastor and one retired pastor and they were fascinated;  no new Christians or unconverted !!!!

Does this help?

JD

M aybe you do not have to be right to be saved, but it helps to be right when trying to tell others how to be saved.
