Did you not see my reference to II Thess 3:15?    Did you not read of the distinction between being a family member and finding yourself saved?   Your grandson will always be your grandson, Judy.   That IS the correct answer.   Your grandson dies tomorrow.   Heaven or hell.   Now, I know you have  a difficulty answering this question, but I don't.  He goes to heaven AS A FAMILY MEMBER  -  God being his Father!!

Adoption has little to do with becoming "sons of God."   Rather, it pertains to the assumption of our bodies into all that is God's world   (Ro 8:23)   God is already our Father.   Paul is already our brother.

Get the picture?

Secondly,   and I knew that Judy was not going to answer this question  ---
the grandson is always a member of the family.   Once a member, always a member.
Once a son,  always a son.

Nonsense, there is an "only begotten" son and there are adopted sons in God's
economy - which mould do you suppose our grandson fits?  He's not the messiah.
Many are called but few are chosen.  Meditate on that for a while JD.
