You're still there, Perry. The subject was 'The HEART of the matter.' God looks on the heart. He alone knows the thoughts and intents of us all.

And the rest of us can know some of what is in the heart when it comes out of the mouth. For out of the abundance that fills the
heart the mouth speaks revealing where one's treasure is.  Is it Dylan or is it Christ???

Preach the gospel by all means. When necessary use words. TT is a forum for words. Stories have been told. Some of these are indicative of the heart of the one telling them.

So what does Francis of Assissi have to do with anything?  The above contradicts the truth.  Did Jesus walk about like a ghost or something?  He is the one who left us the "example that we should follow" and He is the Word of God.  We are to proclaim the
Kingdom of God and be oracles for Him in this world.  I'm sure Francis was well meaning but he was a mystic who was dealing
with some heavy religious corruption in his day and his way differed from the way of Christ.

IMO, MT lived the gospel of Christ. For those who say of her 'but she never used the words........' well, God looked through the words she did use all the way to her life/heart.

To each his own but I can't see any "gospel" in allowing a good Hindu to die a good Hindu without speaking the truth to Him in love.
Mother Theresa did this - she and her nuns tried to give pagans a comfortable death while helping them to die pagans. She also
raised a lot of money for the RCC.  So she is 'revered' by this world ... but then this world loves it's own.
