cd: Why is it everybody wants us to stop preaching

Because they will be Judged by the Spoken Word:

JN 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Perhaps they have an Aversion to the word.

In their minds, avoid the word avoid the judgement!

Hebrews 12:19 the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: For they could not endure that which was commanded

Perhaps it is because it brings judgment and contention.

JN 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

1 Thes 2:2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

Perhaps they just like to Hear SMOOTH things.

PR 15:10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

IS 30 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path

To be loving & modern, a man should drop reprove & rebuke from his vocabulary, in spite of what God says.

2 tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Today it is POSITIVE Only just like Israel of old.

Jer 1 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Dean, I understand you entirely. I never expected Dave to answer...but in
that silence several points about this secret cult can be revealed. his
silence most likely means I am very near, if not dead-on right.
