Dave,
You and I see this very much the same way. I am a follower of Christ,

If you are interested only in what protestants think, then perhaps you
are on the wrong forum. WILL EVERYONE ON THE FORUM WHO CONSIDERS ONESELF
A "PROTESTANT" PLEASE TELL DAVE SO HE CAN DIRECT HIS QUESTIONS AT YOU?
While the fellowships I attend may have stemmed from the protestant
movement, I do not consider myself a "protestant", per se, even though I
share some beliefs that protestants have...but I consider myself a
member of the Body of Christ, the "church universal". It transcends all
man-made denominations and sects and relies on scripture and not any
particular tradition.
