Izzy: I have been dwelling on our discussion yesterday involving
forgiveness and would like to add a few things. If a person doesn't ask
forgiveness then they are bound but I fear if we are not willing to forgive
then we are bound also. Satan will get his dimes worth then. Holding a
grudge is dangerous as Herodias found out in MK 6:17-19. If it is hard to
forgive others then I think doing something good for that person will help
us- even praying for them. Offence will come always as we also have
offended God.I am also rethinking your words of forgiveness without the
offender even asking-which is a higher form of giving grace. I don't think
one should let that person into a similar area of ones life until they have
proven themselves all over again. Saul repented to David-Yet David still
kept his distance. Jesus forgave from the cross and nobody asked by praying
for the Father to forgive them-we should do no less. Thanks:-)
