We are positionally perfected by the shed blood of the sacrifice made for our sins, John.  The Father sees us as perfect as He sees the Son.  We, however, are still playing catch up, trying to live up to our position.  Obviously, everyone on this list is still a few steps behind and working to gain ground, not to be saved but to keep from being such an embarrassment to our Lord. There is our position, and there is what we see when we examine ourselves.
