Dear TruthTalk members, I have added Gary and Dave Hansen back on the list.
I would like all posts about Dean or moderator issues to be taken off the list or just dropped. Please refrain right away. I expect some may not get this post for awhile, so if some posts continue after this one and you have read this, please refrain from responding publicly. Within a day or so, these personal attacks against one another should stop if we adopt this perspective. Don't respond because you think others are getting away with it. It takes awhile sometimes before this later post is read and obeyed. The purpose of this list is to discuss the Truth as each person comprehends it. Not everyone comes from a Christian perspective, and not everyone comes from a Protestant perspective. If you want a Christian fellowship list, go elsewhere. This is not it. I desire for guys like Bill Taylor, Debbie, Jonathan, Dave Hansen, Blaine, Kevin, Ruben, Linda, Christine, Conor (a lurker who hasn't posted yet), John, Judy, Lance and many others to engage in meaningful dialogue about Truth as each one comprehends it. If a list person wants to use the Bible, the Qur'an, the Book of Mormon, Astrology, or LeVay's Satanic Bible to express his perception of truth, he is free to do so. Some level of respect should be afforded the person, no matter how much you despise his frame of reference. The purpose is to hear and share with each other, not cut each other down or try and prove who is right and who is wrong. Rational discussion is what is the goal here, not emotional tirades. I will moderate the list for a little while I decide whether or not TruthTalk should be put to rest permanently because of my lack of time to moderate and the lack of a volunteer moderator. Perhaps consideration could be given to limiting the number of posts sent. Several people subscribed recently only to ask to be taken off within a few days because of the volume of posts.
