I think you must start with:

    - the goals of Tryton
        - fork OpenERP
        - business software platform
        - one module, one concept
    - the architecture of Tryton
        - three-tiers
        - modular
        - multi-database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite)
        - neso
    - the models
        - the database schema created/updated by models
        - the extention of models by modules
        - workflow
    - the wizards (same property then models)
    - the views:
        - the extention with xpath
    - the reports:
        - relatorio
    - clients:
        - tryton (GTK: Linux, Windows, MacOS)
        - CalDAV (sunbird etc.)
        - sao (work in progress)
        - trytond as module (django)


So I don't think writing a module in front of people will not make it a good
talk. (I remember being boring by some talks like that)
I suggest you to use code snipped to illustrate the talk (with some jokes :-).
