For the module, I can suggest you to write a minimal ticket system.
Tickets will have a simple workflow.
You could make a statistic model with graph etc and make a relatorio report
based on the statistic model.
For email, I don't know yet because I have not yet seen what you have written
but you could perhaps send email at ticket creation.
And for django link, you can make a simple page that display open tickets of
customer.
