The timeline for using that graphs is about a year. I'm currently
investigating the tools.
What two tools should be compared? pycairocharts and matplotlib?
pyCha is currently out of my needs. i played a little bit around with it
and its simple and great and nice looking. very good tool for the simple
graphs, we use currently. Played around yesterday night with it.
pycairocharts looks like its more powerful with standard graphs, but it
doesn't have the right approach for my needs. There is no need to change
something on the client. but i have to investigate further.
matplotlib is currently my favourite, cause it has that mathematical
approach. Its way too much for standard graphs, but could support it. So
it could be an addition if you need complex output. I assume it needs to
modificate the client (maybe as module like betrand mentioned) if we use
the gtk-backend of the module. but i did not have written a single line
of code with the matplotlib module.
making a swop analysis doesn't make sense, cause the tools has such a
different scope.
