I think we must find a generic solution for such accounting reports but
I don't think depending on such external project like JasperReports will
be good for Tryton.

We should also define what is an acceptable format because having such
big PDF (or ODT) file are not really useful. I find csv or plain text
more logical.

In Germany you have to save the file you used to print the report in its
original state for legal issues. csv or plain text is not an option (for
Germany).

In Spain is the same, we have to save the file used to print the report in its original state for legal issues. And it could be very large, if the company has lot of account moves in a fiscal year.
