Hi group, my first questions were answered incredibly fast and friendly, so i'm hopeful not to bother anyone with a couple of questions concerning the available features of Tryton.
Since my first steps I understood that Tryton is an extremely modularized solution, and that I have to install modules to provide the needed features. Unfortunately I found very few documentation on what these modules provide in detail, and so i dont really know which to chose. This painful lack of documentation seems to me to be one of the mayor issues of Tryton anyway. What we need: - Some sort of CRM. Especially needed is the possibility to connect more than one employee to a company. The party concept in Tryton seems to do the opposit, that is connecting one person to multiple addresses. The addresses should be devided in kategories, and we want to send bulkmails to them. These mails should shine up in some kind of history, so we can control which mails were sent to a specific person. - A very simple project management. We just want to define projects, book the employees worktime on it, an do some reporting on timesheets. I saw a couple of modules that are supposed to do what we want, but without documentation it's difficult to find out if and how. If Tryton meets our needs on the topics mentioned above we'll implement it in our productive system, an I promise to write some documentation on what we did ;-) So could one of the professionals in this group please answer my questions? Any hints to further documentation is also greatly appreciated.
