Did you have a look at http://doc.tryton.org/1.4/modules/index.html ?

As far as the modules contain docs they are presented there (they are included
in the doc dirtectory of each module).

As already said by Bertrand and Cédric, party is the generic concept of any
subject taking part in a relationship with your company. Categorization of
parties is already possible, categorization of addresses can be implemented in a
separate module, if needed.
