Dear Tryton Community,

Bio Eco Forests has paid for the development of an Android client that
has been developed by SCIL [1]. The source code is distributed under
GPLv3. Now, we suggest the Tryton Community to host the repository on
tryton.org and to use Tryton bug tracker.

Hello Pilou,

What would be the status of the Android client into the Tryton
project?

Would it be presented as equivalent to the GTK client? I mean would it
be released every 6 months (in that case someone will have to cope
with the evolution of trytond), supported by the project (who has the
capacity to do so, I don't) and so on …

Or would it be presented as a friendly project (using or not the
tryton infrastructure) ? Without strings attached and no real
obligations for the project ?

Your vision of the status of the android client is important to decide
how we as a community will handle this issue.
